Terms of Service

QUOTATIONS

• Quotations are only submitted once we have completed a site visit.
• Quotations carry a 30-day expiration date on the condition that the market price and availability of the materials and supplies contained therein remains unchanged during the 30-day validity period.
• Should market prices or stock availability change, it renders the existing quotation void. As such a new quotation will be generated reflecting the changes.

COMMISSION US

• 50% down payment is required to formally commission The Tack Shop.
• Upon receipt of the down payment a project scope will be prepared and submitted for the client to review, provide feedback on any amendments required, approve by way of signing and finally returned to The Tack Shop.
• A follow up site visit may be requested for final verification.
• Upon completion of the build, the 50% balance is due and payable.

PRODUCTION

Our production process is initiated following the down payment. It is as follows:

• Acquire all materials and supplies – Any changes in the material and supply prices and availability that affects the project cost or amends the materials to be used will be communicated to the client prior to purchasing.
• Commence the build – During the build any challenges which arise, which may affect the design, structure or finish of the project will be communicated to the client at the earliest possible time.
• Complete the build.

DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

• The client will be contacted to schedule the date and time for delivery and installation.

POTENTIAL REASONS FOR PROJECT DELAYS WHERE THE TACK SHOP WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE:

• Lack of availability of materials and supplies.
• Change in price of materials and supplies.
• Design changes requested after production has begun.
• Rain. This can affect drying time and inability to transport completed items.

WARRANTY

• A six-month warranty on all hinges and handles provided by The Tack Shop where the issue is not physical damage.
